CYNTHIA ROWLEY

    Illinois native Cynthia Rowley was seven years old when she constructed her first dress. As a senior, studying at the Art Institute of Chicago, she sold her first collection to a variety of New York’s most prominent stores.

    This first leap into ready to wear has since branched out enormously, to include menswear, shoes, jeans, hosiery, eyewear, umbrellas, a fragrance, and handbags. These signature ready to wear, and accessories collections sell at the Cynthia Rowley boutiques, in New York, Los Angeles, East Hampton, and Chicago.

 They can also be found everywhere else, from better department stores, to specialty boutiques here and internationally. Recently, Cynthia has also branched into the internet world, with accessories like handbags, and shoes.

    Though Cynthia herself has appeared on many television broadcasts, from MTV, to E! Channel and “The View”, there is also consistent editorial coverage of her clothing, home, and accessories collections. They are featured in the pages of Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, and Lucky, as well as many others, and can often be found on television, like The Early Show and Good Day NY, just to name a few.
